Year 4 River Ver Trip

Today, our Year 4 children visited the River Ver in St. Albans as part of geography learning about rivers, their features and the animals that live in and around them.

Both of our classes had a great time exploring the River Ver; they loved finding out about the wildlife and hearing about the formation of the river, whilst their learning of rivers really came to life.

We would like to thank the volunteers from the Ver Valley Society for sharing their incredible knowledge about our local chalk streams.
