Wraparound Care
Welcome to ACE CLUB
ACE CLUB is a wraparound care provision for the children at Samuel Ryder Academy. The Club operates within dedicated accommodation housed in the primary phase of the academy and operates from Monday to Friday during term times.
Breakfast Club
The breakfast club operates between the hours of 7.30am-8.40am. You are able to drop your child off at any point between 7.30am-8.15am before the gate closes. We provide a choice of cereals and toast and the children are able to play and watch suitable programmes before the start of the school day. Breakfast Club is £5.50 a session.
Afterschool Club
There are two sessions available after school: (3.20pm to 5.30pm, £10 / session and 3:20pm to 6.30pm £15 / session). The children are given a hot meal which is provided by Herts Catering and follows the school’s allergy guidance.
Each day the children have the opportunity to play and explore a number of exciting games, as well as educational activities which include both indoor and outdoor play. The children will also have the opportunity to complete their homework in a quiet area.
We also offer specific activities on different days:
Make it Monday - A variety of Arts and Craft activities
Tasty Tuesday - The children can enjoy following some no bake recipes
Gaming Wednesday - Adult led board games, quizzes, iPad fun or bingo
Fab lab Thursday - Fun science experiments to explore
Film Friday - The children will get to watch an age appropriate movie that has been voted for all week
Please note that for Reception students starting in September 2022 the registration and setting of accounts for ACE CLUB will only open at the start of the Autumn Term in September.
