Samuel Ryder Football Academy
Posted on 10/01/2025Football players from our Sports Academy program recently supported current Watford FC players Daniel Bachman, Tom Ince and Mattie Pollock in training towards their UEFA coaching badges.
Our students were challenged throughout the afternoon with a number of training drills targeting key aspects of the modern game, each delivered by a different professional.
This was a fantastic opportunity for these players and another example of how our Sports Academy pathway works collaboratively with our professional teams to gain insight and experience of elite sport.
The players gained so much from this experience and having impressed with their enthusiasm, attitude and ability, have been invited back later in this term to support another group of professional players.
