Anti-Bullying Week
Posted on 18/11/2021Our school has welcomed the opportunity to get involved in #AntiBullyingWeek.
Here are just a few examples of student participation.
On Monday, Odd Socks Day was embraced by the whole school to promote how everyone is unique!
All of our primary students wrote a postcard to somebody else in our classrooms with ‘One Kind Word’ about them. It was lovely to see how happy and smiley these positive and kind messages made the children feel.
Year 2 have also been learning the kindness dance - what a lovely way to promote kindness across the school! Their PHSE lesson was also connected to bullying, so they discussed the difference between bullying and being unkind.
Year 8's group board has been transformed to a wall of kindness. Students have written post it notes reflecting on acts of kindness they have seen or experienced along with writing postcards to teachers and friends.
Let’s all spread #onekindword and raise awareness of bullying.
