Psychology explores how we make sense of the world and how we behave in it. It’s about how we see, hear and touch, think, remember and concentrate, interact with others and how we develop and maintain our identities. The course is designed to challenge and excite students and to encourage further study in this field. Students will review a wide range of theoretical research topics looking at individuals and what makes them tick, how they make decisions and how they interact (thinking, feeling and doing). Over the course students will develop their analytical skills and consequently develop a healthy scepticism of the information they come across whilst retaining a sense of wonder for the world around them.
