The National Academic Performance Tables for schools in England were released last week. They show very clearly how strong the achievement in the summer exams was, compared to other schools both locally and nationally.
It is with a great sense of pride we can report that Samuel Ryder Academy features strongly in the performance tables compared to schools in St Albans and Harpenden. Indeed, Samuel Ryder Academy ranks second in Hertfordshire for Progress 8, which is the most important school headline performance measure.
This is a wonderful achievement and something of which we are extremely proud. Both students and staff should be congratulated for their efforts.
The school’s performance in the Sixth Form was also very strong and we are also one of the leading schools in St Albans and Harpenden at KS5 in the performance tables.
We recommend that you take a few minutes to look at the performance tables, which can be found by following this link - www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk.
