The Academy's Ryder Review team has hit the headlines with its very own bulletin for BBC School News Report. The team's Year 9 students took full editorial control of the project, producing a very professional report that reveals some of our exciting school debates and activities. It airs today (16th March) to coincide with the nationwide BBC School Report event in which 900 secondary school across the UK will be turning their classrooms into newsrooms.
School Report is a BBC project which engages young people aged 11 to 16 in news and current affairs and helps them to make and share their own stories.
In its 11th year, it has worked with hundreds of thousands of young people during its history at more than half the secondary schools in the UK.
