Hello and welcome to Samuel Ryder Academy. On behalf of our staff I would like to welcome you and your family to the Primary phase of the Academy.
It is our aim to be a school where the children feel valued, confident and happy. Our work begins by building upon the numerous skills you have fostered in your child at home and to build upon the good practice of nurseries, pre schools and childminders. We aim to develop a successful partnership with you in the academic, social and moral development of your child.
As a parent and teacher I understand that choosing a school for your child is a big decision and I hope that this website gives you an insight in to the organisation of the school, and the facilities that we can offer you and your child. Throughout the following pages I hope to be able to give you a flavour of life in our school and a sense of the commitment we have to ensuring that your child receives the very best education we can offer. We set out to cultivate an attitude of serious application to work and encouragement, allowing the children to achieve the best of which they are capable across the curriculum.
It is impossible to convey the friendly, caring atmosphere of the school or the commitment and enthusiasm of the staff. The only way is to see for yourselves! Please do not hesitate to make an appointment to visit us, we will be more than willing to show you around.
